Agra - Bareilly Special Train Stopped Running

Saturday, August 8, 2009
As I recall, Indian railways started Agra - Bareilly Special train on Agra - Bareilly route 3 times a week in May 2009, but due to low availabilty of passenger finally decided to leave the passenger with only available option of +BE LTT EXPRESS (train no. 4314) running from Bareilly on Saturdays (10:45) and returning back on Tuesday (07:55) from Agra. In addition to it a passenger train also runs on this route, but due to safety reasons and time taken, its of no use.

That Agra-Bareilly Special was of great importance for a journey to central and southern India, as one don't have to go Delhi to catch the train from there. It actually saved around 5 hours and no tension of switching the railway station to catch the central and southern India bound trains.
